We can get lots of lives as the pets from everywhere recently , so we can see lots of rare lives from foreign countries. Wealthy species make us fun and it has become convenient to know lots of kind. However, import pets bring serious effests on a speicies indigenous to Japan.  Import pets have affected original creatures and the local ecosystem over the past years. For example, a black bass have multiplied in river in recent years and they eat all the original Japanese creatures such as carp, dragonfly larva, and other aquatic life.  Thus, the original Japanese ecosystem has changed because of them.  This problem brings the extinction of indigenous creatures.  So, it means chaos for everything and everyone involved.  We will not only lose the original life but it will also affects the food culture of people who eat the local life.   People enjoy eating original food of the region.  For example, if Yamame which is original Japanese fresh water fish is exterminated, we cannot eat them anymore and we will lose the culture of eating them.  If imported pets go wild in Japan, it will create severe problems.  Therefore, there are three possible solutions to improve this situation.

First, reinforce a master’s responsibility for their own pets.  Having responsibility solve these serious problem. Communities concerning animals and pets, and goverment should watch master’s circumstances.  But, there is the limit of watching all the individuals.  They cannot afford them perfectly.  So, they give information to masters about the present severe situation and improve their moral.  They give three slogans which represent attitude of moral as a master.  “Do not accept, Do not leave, Do not expand”  This is three principle of prevention for harmful import pets.  These rules are good to save our original lives, but it’s not enough to cover all. Some people cannot take in it.

Next, extermination of foreign creatures already in the wild. It will easy and direct way to save other original lives, but it needs lots of money, time, restrictions to exterminate animals.  To exterminate import pets, also affect our life.  For example, American crawfish have been liked by many Japanese kids for a long time, though they are from America, so it is not simple and good way to solve the problem.  I think it is also selfish method of people and too forcible.

Third, Put a ban on import pets.  This is an most possible and appropriate solution to stop increasing foreign creatures in Japan.   There are lots of specified paticular extraneous lives such as Mangoose, Weasel, Nutria, Toad, Hedgehog, etc…  Surprisingly, there are lives which I believed it’s Japanese original animals.  Government specified 2,000 kind as the particular extaneous lives.  We cannot keep, conveyance, import, and sale them.  In spite of this regulation, there are lots of smuggling.  Smuggler can pay lots of money to satisfy their appetites, and the zoo as an acceptance of animals cannot afford for their capasity.  I think it should be more strict and improve the sysems.

Finally, It would be difficult to solve about the problem of import pets after expand everywhere in Japan, it needs huge cost, time, effort, and sacrifice.  So, preventions are important, and we need information of  lives and present serious situations.  To save our own original lives and ecosystem, we should keep having moral and responsibility.

For a long time, people are involved in a traffic accident and it accounts for a high rate of dying. Accoding to the survey of the National Police Agency, 1,190,000 people had died caused by traffic accident in 2005. The reasons of this problem can devide 3 causes, and it is easy to follow the rules. If we care those rules, we can save our life.

One big reasons of the traffic accidents is due to taking their eyes off the road while driving. For example, they are talking with someone and into it and crash. In addition, there is a problem of our recent bad habit. People tend to use cellular phone while driving. The law prohibits using it while driving because it leads accidents. In fact, since the law have entacted, the amount of traffc accidents decreased in half. Eventhough people knows the risk of it, lots of them still don’t observe it. Especially, young driver’s consciousness is low, and that is why traffic accident is increasing lately.

Traffic accidentscan happen because of rushing out without seeing. This is noticeable tendency among children and old people. For this reason, there are lots of fatal accidents among them. I think they don’t have enough realization of prediction to danger. To avoid it, the communities around them try to go out the street, and watch them. Therefore, their family can relief from the accidents, and it is also important to teach them about road safety rules, through the communication with their communities. We always have to care about dangerous prospect in a street.

Finally, I must say the risk of drunk driving. I often watch this problem in a news recently, and many absurd driver killed lots of irreplaceble life. We must not forgive this crime and we have to face this matter. Drunk driver tend to think it is easy to drive and trust themselves too much. Due to their thoughtless act, lots of people pay for it. As a result of this problem, bars and restaurants put a ban on drinking to drivers. Since it is gradually spreading the risk of it, many drivers obey the rule.

It seems that anyone can observe these cares easily. I think traffic accidents may be decreasing if we just keep on having little cares and considerations.

My hometown is Saga city, and I also had lived in Fukuoka for one year.  Now, I would like to tell differences between two cities and choose one.

First, Saga is very comfortable for me to live. As you know, it’s my home town and a countryside.  Saga has flat land so I can see rulal field everywhere.  It would make you relax and relieve any stress of city life.

In contrast, Fukuoka is a biggest city in Kyushu and there are lots of people and shops.  It is good place to hang out.  You never bore with this exciting city life.  We can get almost what we want, and there are lots of delicious food like calld Ramen, Mentaiko etc.  Fukuoka is also famous for “Yatai” which is sort of stand.       Business person and tourist like to go there. It’s very lively spot.  Fukuoka shows us these busy and active aspects.

Unlike active city, Saga is not crowd and never happen a trafic jam.  That is why you would feel very comfortable to drive, and there are few people who drives dangerously.  If you drive in Saga, you’ll see the black and white birds.  It is called “Kasasagi” or “Kachigarasu”.  They only lives in Saga and represent prefecture’s bird. They have beautiful black and white color and the body is smaller than other ordinary crows.  People in Saga loves them and you’ll also love them too. They are original and rare bird so you should come and live with them.

On the other hand, how about poor aspects of Saga city and Fukuoka city?  One big fault of Saga city is boring unlike Fukuoka city.  There are few spot to hang out, and not lively in heart of the city.  That is why you will feel boring.                                        

Second, people speaks strong dialect in Saga. It could be good point depend on people.  But, the dialect is very unique and it sounds not polite.  Some people might think it’s not cool and coarse.  

Even though in same Kyushu, Fukuoka people speaks a cheerful dialect.  You will think it’s sounds cute.  Fukuoka dialect is more intimate than the other one. I like Fukuoka dialect.

While the dialect is very nice, there are lots of crime in Fukuoka city.  Especially, a snatch is often happen such as bag, bicycle snatch, those things happen everyday. You should take care of yourself when you are in street.  In some place of Fukuoka, atmosphere is also as dirty and smell as any other big cities.  It’s not good to live with dirty air.  I can’t take it.

In my opinion, Saga city could be boring and not elegant but, I can go to Fukuoka easily whenever I want and Saga’s easygoing atmosphere make me relax. And it has been built a big mall in Saga recently.  So, it’s enough to spend the good time for every people.  I would choose Saga city which is safer and good atmosphere. It suit me than big Fukuoka city.

It’s getting concern about Global warming. Everywhere I go, I can see the problem of present environment. We have to think about it urgently.  And these serious matters has changed people’s consciousness little by little.  There are 3 big changes.

 First, people make more effort to recycle garbge. It has become strict on classifying the garbage. By classifying the garbage, we can recycle lots of garbage, and it it also easy to process. Any home should classify the garbage into many categories. For example, cans, bottle and glass, PET bottle,and other burnable trash. There are different rule s depend on the area. It’s a troublesome job, but good for us and the earth.

Then, people tend to reuse material instead of only one-time use. It is aim for reducing the garbage. Lately people have own chopsticks, cup, spoon and my own shopping bag. There are lots of people who take them anywhere they go and refuse one-time use. It has become popular now. Fortunately, people seems to think it’s cool to do. We can see young people who has “eco bag” for shopping, and there’s lots of fashionable bags at the shop. We can feel it’s easy to start ecology life.

Third, People are concerning about reducing energy.  As one of the solutions,”cool biz” spread between business person. We can see lots of no tie style business person in summer. It is aim for rising temperature of air conditioner and reduce the energy.  I think this is great idea and I also try to spend without an air conditioner.

 Recently, we can see lots of ecological products. Every company states that “This is an ecological product as the strong point. There’s no way to live without ecology for companies.  I can tell “ecology” is a most important keyword for us from now.  It’s kind of competition and good trend for the earth. It’s getting rising consciousness of global warming year after year. We have to wrestle with this important problem, and we can change little by little.
